Tips for adjusting the anatomical inlays
The foot should have as large as possible entrance area and be compactly enclosed. The shoe should not impair under any circumstances the blood circulation of the foot
The circumference of the foot depends on various factors (e.g. time of day, temperature, physical condition). Therefore you should adjust the shoe at the time of day in which your training/contest normally takes place. For adjustment, please wear the same "kind" of socks as in a training/match
Is the shoe too tight? Sand off the inlays on the underside, until enough place for the foot develops.
Is the shoe too wide? Put depending upon need the 1.5 mm or 3.0 mm felt inlay under the anatomical inlay.
Is the shoe too flat in the heel? Put the heel wedges under the inlay and fix these with double-sided adhesive tape on the insole.
In order to obtain as good a fitting as possible, try to make the changes gradually. Take enough time to try out some variations. After every adjustment stand approx. 15 min. in the shoe Only in such a way, you can make sure that in training/match no disturbing pressure points will appear.
Ask a shoemaker in your area, if you need customization help.
